In episode 11 of season 5, aired in 2013, Alex and Marley went to Shark Tank. The pair was seeking a $450K investment for 15% ownership in their business.

At the time they appeared on the reality TV show, they had made sales worth $9.8 million and $3 million in annual profits. However, they also had made a loss of about $500K in 2012.
